The Prontus is slightly lighter and smaller than the Medula but still has similar banding and filigree. The polished metal work adequately shows off the pen's curves and features. It is still as high quality as the Medula and retains the writing prowess of a status pen.
 
Feedback from some of my regular customers is that they like to feel the texture of the wood and are not overly keen on highly polished and sealed pens. So, unlike sealed woods, the Walnut will absorb the user's oils over time, gradually darkening and forging a unique connection between the pen and its owner. The absence of sealing also allows users to appreciate the tactile experience of the wood's natural grain, as you write.
