Originally designed by the renowned pen maker David Broadwell, this pen showcases artistry at its finest. The body is meticulously crafted from olive wood, repurposed from a humble garden centre chopping board and transformed into a stunning writing instrument. The natural grain of the olive wood tells a story, making each pen truly one of a kind.
 
A brilliant Swarovski crystal is set in the clip, a sparkling accent that enhances the pen’s elegance and refinement.
 
This ballpoint has been made for those with a tactile nature. The pen has lots of contours and ridges, so I thought I'd complement them by making the wood slightly thinner than the pen providing even more ridges and making the pen even more of a tactile object.
 
Feedback from discerning customers inspired the choice to leave the wood unsealed, allowing its natural beauty and texture to shine. Over time, the wood will absorb the oils from the user’s hand, deepening its colour and forging a unique connection between the pen and its owner.
